How much time do you spend each day sifting through emails to determine which ones actually require your attention?
If you're like most business owners, the answer is likely "too much."
With customer inquiries, supplier updates, internal communications, and the occasional junk mail, your inbox can become overwhelming.
If you or your team overlook something important because it got lost in the shuffle, it can lead to delays, confusion, or worse.
Well, guess what?
Microsoft is introducing a smart new tool to address this issue.
Outlook for iOS and Android will soon incorporate Copilot, Microsoft’s AI assistant, to highlight your most crucial emails. This feature, called Priority view, will categorize your inbox into two straightforward sections: High Priority and Needs Replies.
This means that when you open Outlook on your phone, the most important emails will immediately catch your attention.
We all know how easily important messages can be overlooked, especially when you're busy or managing multiple responsibilities. With Priority view, you'll spend less time searching through your inbox, allowing you more time for other important tasks.
For employees, it can alleviate some of the stress of keeping up with emails, eliminating the worry of missing something crucial hidden among newsletters or group updates.
It's important to note that this feature will be gradually introduced and may not be available to everyone until late 2025. Additionally, it's exclusive to businesses using Microsoft 365 with a Copilot license, as Copilot is a paid add-on.
But if you're already considering AI tools to enhance your business's efficiency, this is one to keep an eye on.
Interested in how Copilot could benefit your business? Whether it's with Outlook, Teams, or other tools, or if you want to discuss optimizing your email setup, feel free to reach out. We're here to help you stay on top of your technology needs.
